A WW1 Imperial German Iron Cross 1st Class. Maker Marked S.W for Sy-Wagner Berlin. This originally had a 3rd Reich Spange attached to the top as the soldier won it again during WW2, However it was removed in 1945 due to denazification rules in Germany so the award could still be worn. The bottom clasp is missing.
