A 16th century Quang Duc Vietnamese Ceramic mineral lime pot featuring a rounded body and ornate handle.
Used for Vietnamese custom of betel chewing, a popular ancient traditional noble hobby in Southeast Asia regions. Betel-nut chewers would wrap a piece of areca fruit in a betel-pepper leaf, along with a little mineral lime taken from this pot.
Distressed exterior with aged patina and intricate detailing. Condition shows wear, chips, and natural patina from age. Approximately 16.5cm height x 15cm width. Please see photos or request a condition report.
