A 16th century Quang Duc Vietnamese Ceramic mineral lime pot with Ring Handle.
Used for Vietnamese custom of betel chewing, a popular ancient traditional noble hobby in Southeast Asia regions. Betel-nut chewers would wrap a piece of areca fruit in a betel-pepper leaf, along with a little mineral lime taken from this pot.
Earthen brown ceramic exterior with a green patina ring handle and spout. Exhibits signs of wear and surface erosion, particularly around the spout opening.
