A rare, uncharacteristically large, Palaeolithic obsidian tool/blade, approximately 1.4 million years old from Mount Artemi, Armenia. Dimensions: 15 x 5 x 2 cm, weight: 152 g, with wonderful patina as expected from an item with such age. These tools are attributed to both Homo erectus and Homo sapiens.
