An Early Naval History; An Iron Cannonball Found in the Waters off Southampton and discovered encased in a Barnacled Rust Coating which was opened to reveal 2.5 Inch Cannonball. The Gun that would have fired this size shot was likely a model ‘Minion’. The Ball is most likely a 2 Pounder. Comes with the encrusted outer on two halves with the ball fully intact. A Rare Find in this condition.
