1910 Dated British Sanderson Hooked Quillon 1907 Pattern Bayonet, marked for lend/lease Australia. Australia did not make their own bayonets until 1913 so leased them from Great Britain. Unit Marked with the letter “V” on the mouthpiece of the scabbard. Maybe for the Military District Victoria? Comes in an original period tear drop button scabbard.
