Antique Chinese Tea Pot with important Chinese history in fact the stamped writings are all in Japanese writing, military ranks from Japanese Manchuko China 1800’s campaign, Major General, Corporal, Cavalry, Sergeant Major, Infantry, Colonel, Second lieutenant, Army Engineers,. Purple clay was a speciality of the finest Chinese Tea pot makers in the 1800’s & is today highly sought after and collectable. A high ranking Japanese army officer would have commissioned Chinese artists to make this for him as a souvenir from the Manchuko Sino Russian war 1800’s.
