An impressive, large slice of a fossil wood -possibly teak- from Eastern Java, Indonesia. Late Eocene (appr. 34 million years old). In excellent preservation order, even capillary tubes can be seen. Dimensions: 24 x 20 x 2 cm, weight: 1.2 kg.
