A spectacular, blue STAR SAPPHIRE. Good size (10.50 carats), round cabochon (diameter: 13 mm). Due to its exceptional hardness, only the top surface is polished. Origin Unknown. NB: In order for the star effect to be appreciated to its maximum potential, the stone should be inspected and photographed under a single light source, e.g. flash, direct sunlight, etc.
