Kabul to Kandahar Star 1880 (The ‘Roberts Star’). This is an un-named example of this iconic decoration which was awarded to those who took part in General Roberts’ epic 300-mile march from the Afghan capital, Kabul, to Kandahar to relieve the beleaguered forces of General Burrows, during the Second Afghan War of 1878-80. In outstanding Extremely Fine (EF) condition.
