WW1 British Trench Art in the form of a Kepi Hat/ Ashtray. The hat fashioned from an 18 Pounder shell dated 1907 and indicating to have been reused in 1915. The driving band forming the strap and a small flaming grenade applied to the top centre. The base heavily marked with War Department and other ammunition inspection marks.
