An exquisitely hand carved Meerschaum smoking pipe depicting the head of Hayrettin Barbarossa. The pipe has been lightly used. Length: 14 cm, height: 6 cm.
Barbarossa (1466/1478 – 1546) was initially an Ottoman corsair and later became Kapudan Pasha (Grand Admiral) of the Ottoman Navy.
