A Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, EIIR 1st Type ( Britt Omn) fixed suspender named to: MX56261 R C Young Shpt Art 1 HMS Chameleon. This is an example of the scarer EIIR obverse RN LSGC, named to a Shipwright Artificer First Class, an unusual rat. HMS Chameleon was an Algerine Class minesweeper (Pennant J387) built by Harland & Wolf and Launched om 6 may 1944. She was stationed initially in the Far East and Served later with the 2nd Minesweeping Flotilla, Part of the Mediterranean Fleet, and with the Palestine Patrol. She was finally Scrapped in 1966. very fine.
