A Vintage Book (Atlantic Front) Dedicated to the Memory of Basil Tudor Williams (died at 18 years of age). Basil was 3rd officer on MV Anadara which was sunk by a German torpedo in WW2. The book contains newspaper clippings and a letter from his mother who was unaware of his death. It also contains a commiseration letter from the King. The owner of the book is unknown – we can only assume it was a friend or family member connected to Basil. A poignant piece of wartime history.
