Cadmore Auctions – Firearm Highlights 11/12th July

History will remember that Vanilla Ice was not the only person to ‘grab his 9’, as one voracious bidder left everyone in the dust with a £3,200 winning bid for a deactivated Glock 9mm pistol (lot 118).

Lot 118 - A GENUINE GLOCK 9mm SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL (DEACTIVATED)
Lot 132 - A GENUINE STAR 7.65mm SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL (DEACTIVATED)

The preferred weapon of secret agents – The Star 7.65 semi-automatic pistol was intercepted by a winning bid of £2,100. Don’t worry, it won’t self-destruct, but it is deactivated (lot 132).

The Colt 44 – the gun that won the West. Unfortunately, the 1860 Uberti deactivated one we sold for £420 would now come up slightly short (lot 564).

Lot 564 - A GENUINE UBERTI 1860 COLT 44 BLACK POWDER PISTOL (DEACTIVATED)
Lot 361 - A WALTHER TPH .22 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL (DEACTIVATED)

I’m not saying the Walther TPH is a poor relation of the Walther PPK but apparently James Bond’s milkman use to carry one. Anyway, we sold a deactivated TPH pistol for £480 (lot 361).

Nobody likes to be snubbed, unless of course you’re a Smith and Wesson 31 deactivated handgun. This classic beauty sold for £320 (lot 543).

Lot 543 - A SMITH AND WESSON 31 .32 CALIBRE REVOLVER (DEACTIVATED)

N. B. All sold prices are hammer prices and exclude commission.
